ivyficWas it just me, or did that episode pretty much suck? Yeah. I think it sucked. There's just something...off about all the guest actors. I didn't buy any of them. Everybody was making stupid horror movie mistakes, especially the boys. (Let's split everybody up! I'll take the civilian into the lair of the beast then ditch him! Quick, everybody hide someplace where we can't find you!)
And the Sam-n-Dean stuff was just a retread of last time. *yawn* I'm sorry, but this is the whiff of shark jumping I was afraid of when Dean came back from hell. Because pretty much the only thing he can say is that it was really bad. No, really bad. By definition it's unrelatable, and therefore has nowhere near the impact of lesser but more fathomable evils. Dean torturing countless souls in an eternity of hell? Incomprehensible. If Dean had said that he had tortured five people to death and really got off on it? That I would find disturbing. Just look at Jared! He agrees with me! He has no idea how to play his reaction to these statements. He's just standing there like...uh...that sucks. Ugh. C'mon, Supernatural, wow me next time! (Or at least bring back Castiel.)
