Sep. 1st, 2008 10:55 pmAfter eighty billion television commercials, I watched the premiere of "Raising the Bar." It was completely uninspiring. Mark-Paul Gosselaar's character is a walking cliche that only serves to detract from the real tragedy of the system by making himself the victim, rather than the innocent client. I think when I want an intelligent look at the flaws in our legal system, I'll stick to "Boston Legal."
I also made lasagna for the first time today. It came out well, but man lasagna noodles are a pain to work with. Also my recipe required twice as many noodles and half as much cheese as I ended up using. I do not know how this lasagna was supposed to work. It would have been a pile of baked noodles with a thin sheen of sauce in between them.
