I watched the season premiere of SGA on Friday, and decided I needed a drink to cope. (Dude, I just finished out season 4--this story arc definitely needs drunkenness.) I went to get ice for my drink, the only time I use ice, normally, and all of my ice had sublimated. The ice bin just had little splotches of impurities from the water, distilled by the freezing, then left there by the sublimating, like ghosts of ice cubes past. I don't even know how long that takes to happen.

So I had my drink straight. That was a mistake. Luckily I only fell asleep on the couch after the credits rolled.
