linaerys). I also watched the avant garde gay film Lilies. This movie takes place in the present in a prison and in a flashback that is being acted out by the prisoners. So all the female parts are played by men. Not in a flashy, drag queen way--no one even remarks on it. They're just dressed like women (no falsies), with makeup and hair like women and I spent a good portion of the first half hour going wait...is that?...is that a man? I swear he has an adam's apple...
This is the thing about watching trippy weird surrealistic stuff when you have a fever. I don't recommend it.
