I have not shared my thoughts on Heroes so far, so here you go:
-I object on principle to plots that require the characters to be stupid. I'm looking at you Peter.
-Remember first season when Claire was a kick-ass, strong-willed, independent, but intelligent teenager? When defying her parents was about trying to find the truth and not about teenage rebellion? When she handled her whole world falling apart and still managed to keep it together? I miss her.
-From Claire's plotline we learn a couple of things. One—when lying to dad about going to the library, bring some books. Or at least, you know, a pen. Two—stalkers are totally awesome love interests. Three—when a girl tells you no, just keep pestering her because she really really wants to say yes. Four—you should totally trust other people with abilities cause they totally will back you up (even if you know that people with abilities have murdered each other and your dad's conspiracy-ridden company routinely used people with abilities to trap people just like you, Claire). Also, this guy totally needs to be Nathan's son. Cause that would be awesome. And by awesome I mean creepy and disturbing and way too much like Star Wars.
-For all my meh-ness about Sylar, I'm liking his plot so far. Especially because in Maya and Alejandro, he faces powers that he can't just absorb. They work in tandem; they balance each other. So they're protected for now until Sylar figures out a way to control them without a partner. (Assuming he gets his power-gaining ability back, which I'm sure he will).
-Matt and Mohinder are the best dads ever. They need to get their own spin-off sitcom called "My Two Dads." Wait, that show already exists and it stars Paul Reiser. *shudder* In any case, the writers seem to be writing Molly as a very small adult. Her only psychological problems stem from her abilities? This is a child. A child who witnessed the murder of both her parents just last year. Come on, people. ETA: Actually, with the Heroes timeline, it's only been a few months since the murder. She should not be at all a stable child, let alone one who's more adult than her caretakers.
-No more Micah and Niki. Please.
-I could care less about Hiro's plotline.
-Nathan's hair can conquer the world. Just look at it.
