ivyficThere's a new Highlander movie and nobody told me? I was flipping past Sci Fi this weekend and landed on the last half hour of Highlander: The Source--and wow. It looks just as bad as Endgame. Possibly worse. Cause trying to actually explain the Highlander mythology? Bad idea. Especially Duncan conceiving a child with Mary Sue, er, I mean the heroine who has visions and is the key to everything about immortals, by hugging her and looking into her eyes. Whose idea was it to end the movie on a long loving shot of a fetus? How very...2001.
I will say one thing, though. I kind of like the idea that this whole belief system Immortals have built up about the Game and there can be only one is just completely ass-backward. They just misinterpreted something and whoops! Sorry. No need for you all to kill each other. Maybe if you'd done a proper textual exegesis...
