Harry Potter--first thoughts

I have to say, I'm a little disappointed. I was expecting something...spectacular. Instead I got something good. I think my enjoyment of all the previous books was buoyed by my hopes for what would be in the future books, what I thought she was sowing the seeds for, and now that we've come to the end, I'm starting to notice all those things I wanted and didn't get. That and the years and years of speculation meant that though I didn't anticipate the little details, I'd guessed the shape of the plot. I was hoping that she'd surprise me, but she didn't.
I guess I was hoping for the Gray Havens. But not everyone can be Tolkien.
Also, I so called that one of the twins would die. Ask anyone. I may have been wrong about the Harry dying thing (which I was spoiled for, thank you publunch), but I'm calling myself correct on a technicality. Voldemort did kill part of him. :)
