I was watching "Provider" last night, a completely forgettable, filler episode in season 3 of Angel.

And suddenly there was Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

The character JDM is playing is a little too naive, but it wouldn't take all that much tweaking for it to make perfect sense that it's actually John Winchester. And I do so love the idea of John conning Angel into dusting a nest of vampires.

In the next episode of Angel, "Waiting in the Wings," Summer Glau plays a ballerina, which completely escaped me the first time I saw it. A ballerina with a terrible Russian accent, granted, but you do get to see her dance.

Oh god is Waiting in the Wings the one that required poor Charisma Carpenter to say "I'm only alive when you're inside me"? It took years in fandom to find a line worse than that.
