Such sweet crack. It sucked me in again.
I love how the show could take an absurd situation -- like constantly playing into the fact that Denny and Alan act like an old gay civilly-unioned couple -- which they usually play for laughs, and then sucker-punch you with sentiment.
I loved the whole scene between Denny and Alan in tonight's episode where Denny acknowledges that he's acting like a jealous lover and then says that his emotions are still valid: "this notion that jealousy and fidelity only apply to romance." First I think, he's so right! Then I think, they are so playing me right now! I feel manipulated, yes, but I'm still going, "Oh, so cuuuute!" *wibble*
It's pretty much pointless to look for slash in this show since the show is written as slash.
I don't get to watch it much, but every time I do, it's sooo worth it.
