Jan. 4th, 2021 08:05 amAs I get into youtubers on my list who do more culture criticism and political content, standard disclaimer: just because I watch these youtubers does not mean I agree with their viewpoints. In fact, I try to watch some people I disagree with. Everyone I watch I think puts together a well thought out argument, though, and it’s useful to hear from different viewpoints. But that doesn’t mean I’ve seen or agree with everything on their channel.
One of many person-in-front-of-a-wall pop culture analysts I watch on youtube. I’m going to recommend two of his videos—first a video on the Fountainhead which I honestly found to be an interesting take (note--he is not an objectivist). And this is pretty typical for the videos he usually makes. But also, since he’s a huge kaiju fan, he also did a video where he watched all the Godzilla movies simultaneously and tried to see if there was any lessons he could take from doing that. Cause why not.
