I am not doing Yuletide this year, for the first time in a while.
I've had a pattern the past couple years of never writing a Yuletide letter, writing the story at the last minute, then taking forever to read my gift (I am always with family the week of Christmas, so not a lot of screen time). Then last year, I started working on a client with a quarter end in December. (For the non-accountants, that means working til 9-10 at night most nights for the two weeks before Christmas). So last year, I left work the night Yuletide stories were due, spent an hour writing it, then logged back on and kept working til midnight. I never even proofread that story.
So I'm admitting defeat, at least while I have this work schedule. I nominated Pinter's Betrayal, though. Just in case anyone happens to see it in the tag set and decide to write it.
