2014 look back

I experienced my first busy season, which means I barely noticed it was 2014 until mid-March, when I looked up and realized I hadn't even bought a calendar. (Which is why I have a terrible steampunk wall calendar. Steampunk my ass. One of the months is a cell phone circa 2003 with some gears stuck on it. It is a terrible calendar.)
In 2014, I earned two masters degrees, passed the CPA exam (though I won't qualify for a license until next year), moved back to New York, and started a new job. I think my resolution last year was something like survive, and I've done that. And that's pretty much my resolution this year. Survive. Cause busy season is coming, and busy season for an accountant is no joke.
Maybe in March, when I've slept for a week, I can make a resolution. But for now it's just day to day.
So yeah. That was 2014. I don't feel like there was much of a year there, just work. But I can't say that another year has gone by and nothing has changed, cause dear god everything has changed. Now I just get to see if it changed for the better!
Also, I will be pretty media silent for the duration of busy season, cause working fourteen hours a day kind of takes away from social media time. But I'll be back when it's over!
