Dec. 13th, 2008 11:05 pmI caught the pilot of Leverage. It looks like a moderately interesting heist TV series. If it isn't cancelled by the end of the season, maybe I'll rent the DVDs.
But here's the thing. They could have gotten me to watch it just by putting Christian Kane in the ads. Seriously. Christian Kane. Looking seriously hot in the long hair. And he's the action twink of the bunch, so there's much bad-assery on his part. And yet all you can tell from the ads is that the series stars Timothy Hutton. Which, whatever. Feh. Just give me more Kane and I'll watch your stupid show, okay?
And speaking of misleading ads, I've been enjoying the first season of Chuck. I remember, though, when they were advertising this series, I could not for the life of me figure out what the premise was. I also don't remember them putting Adam Baldwin in the ads. These network execs seem to not know where their star power lies.
