A notice posted to one of my Star Wars lists:

Join The Jedi Order to learn about The Force and how to become a Jedi.
We will be electing a High Council and training members of the
community boards so please come and check out out! We are NOT an rpg,
we are a real Jedi Order who has real goals and missions, so serious
minded people only please. Come learn the ways of The Force with the
largest growing body of Jedi in the world!

What are these missions, I wonder? Peacefully overthrowing dictatorships? Bending spoons?
