stupid VCR!

Stupid bleeping VCR! My VCR decided to eat my Smallville tape. Not that I mind losing last week's episode all that much, but I can't get the stupid tape out, rendering the whole machine useless. Arrrgh! Now I have to find a VCR repair shop. Do those even exist?

This VCR is only six months old! It should not be temperamental. Grrrrr.

On the plus side, I finally have a bed. Maybe the VCR got jealous of the new furniture.

So, I have a video cassette player that often does this. Strangely enough, I found that turning it upside down and pressing the 'eject' button tends to do the trick.

Tried that. No luck. Now I'm relegated to the whim of network television. Grrrrr.
