There should be a rule against putting out of office messages on emails you use to subscribe to massive listserves. Cause I really don't care if you, random person on listserve, are on vacation right now.

arrgh! there's someone on the richard shindell listserv who always does it! I once tried to ask her politely to just unsub from the list when she went on vacay, and sub again when she returned, instead of flooding us with vacation responses to every. damn. e-mail. sent. on the list. Needless to say, she was a ho, so she didn't do it.
