ivyficI was trying to extract jpgs from word files and for some reason, while I was doing this, all the icons on my desktop turned blue. I rebooted the computer - still blue. I poked around display settings, and figured out how to change them to any color I wanted, but not how to make them go back to normal.
I called the help desk. Forty minutes on hold later, intermittently hearing the tech guy yelling at other people in the help desk about this weird problem, and they fixed it. But I look up from the sudoku puzzle I'd been doing - and all the fonts on my computer are weird and squishy looking. Not just on the desktop - in all my programs, my emails, on the internet too.
I decide I hate Windows.
Another hour of poking around settings menus and I finally figured out how to switch it all back. I decide that I am a computer god.
Aaaaand now I've spent almost the entire afternoon on a minor, stupid computer problem that has almost no bearing on my ability to work on my computer.
