Yeah. I grew up in California and I have a vivid childhood memory of a taxidermied grizzly they used to display at the Academy of Sciences, which was one of the last ones in the state if not the very last. They had it in a case with a backdrop of the California flag, I guess to demonstrate the irony of our state symbol being extirpated from our state.
