It just occured to me--the only evidence we have that Sam is sleeping with Ruby is when Sam told Dean about it. I think the writers are clearly thinking that he is. But I think it's just as likely, given Sam's secret demon-blood addiction, that when he was confessing to Dean about being drawn to Ruby, and fighting it, and eventually giving in, he was actually describing drinking her blood. Not sex. But he felt the need to confess something of what he's done to Dean, because he needed Dean's forgiveness for it, and he needed a plausible explanation for keeping Ruby around, and sex is something Dean understands, while demon blood clearly isn't.

Hmmm.... I like this idea. Even more if Ruby was actually angling for sex, and all she's getting is a little vampire action.

Didn't they do it on-screen at least once? That whole naked thing? While Dean was getting down with Anna?

Did they? Shows how much I've been paying attention this season. The only sex scene I remember is the one Sam tells Dean about, with the "Dude! TMI!" interrupt from Dean.

They actual show it though. I believe, if memory serves, that Sam starts the story and then it flips to Ruby jumping into Sam's lap. I think they both might lose their shirts, but not sure. There is kissing though, but nothing like the scene between Dean and Anna. :)

I was pretty sold on "they done did it." And yeah, the scene between Dean and Anna was much more.

No, I remember that one. But think about context--we are seeing what Sam is telling Dean. Which means Sam could very well be lying.

Is there another sex scene between them I've forgotten? If not, I kind of like the idea of Sam covering his sin of drinking demon blood with the lesser sin of sleeping with a demon. As I said, clearly not the intended interpretation, but when have I ever cared about that?

Interesting. I interpret that as "illustration of what Sam is describing to Dean," an interpretation supported by Dean interrupting. Which means it's subjective truth--it's what Sam is telling Dean. But if you interpret that as flashback, it's a whole other thing.
