Oddness

Last night I dreamt that Ewan McGregor played curling at my church. Unfortunately, he sucked and managed to lob the curling stone so hard it smashed through the door to the sanctuary, kneecapping a little old biddy on the way.

Then I dreamt I woke up, went to work and told my boss about that I dreamt Ewan McGregor played curling badly at my church, which he found hilarious.

Then I woke up.

No, I'm not going to tell my boss about it.

I take issue with this post. One cannot "play" curling. It is a serious and noble sport.

Yeah, who am I kidding? How exactly did shuffleboard on ice get into the Olympics?

Dreams with Ewan McGregor are nifty, though. Even if he was an incompetent curler.

Ah, but you can "play" football, baseball, basketball, soccer... Playing it does not demean it as a sport. That being said, I find it said that my love of due South has led to dreams of curling.

And I deserve credit for looking up the proper term for that granite thingy in wikipedia.

Well we obviously can't call it a rock. That's just not suave.

Stone's that much better? I was hoping it was something like "widget" or "thingamaboo."

It's best you don't share the story. You might get caught in a loop, never wake up.

I dreamt the Wildcats went to their Jam and it was absolutely packed. But for some reason the orchestra had decided to play along. They didn't seem to grasp the concept of "a cappella". And it was weird and awkward and sounded bad and was in the wrong key. And everyone left.
