I'm not actually sure about the states--we took a cross-country roadtrip when I was 12 and I don't actually know which of the flat states we drove through, but it was something vaguely like that.

I'm in the same pickle re: states of the US. I have been to so, so many of them criss-crossing the country, but all the ones in the middle look the same from a car ("Oh look, more corn!") that I would have to ask my mother which ones I've definitely been to.

Weird as it is, I've only been to Canada for three hours in between a flight landing and a cruise taking off. WTF? It's right there, especially from our upstate house.

I don't understand why it says "Create your own map of ____ OR determine the next president." Why are those two related? And why can't you do both? On states I've visited, I'm very much of a coasts girl myself - until recently, the only middle-of-the-country place I'd been was Chicago (which is faboo); recently, I did go to Houston, which, I think, I could have done without... :-P
