Yeah, I was so pissed off when I saw the finale and realized that that was all there was. Oooh boy was I pissed. I like the idea of good/evil Coop for the third season. Too bad it never happened.
I think Audrey getting knocked up by Coop might have been taking it a bit too far, especially cause I figure Coop for the cautious type who would definitely use protection. I don't disagree that Coop would have had too much integrity to actually get involved with Audrey, but she was 18 and it would have been nice to at least advance their romantic tension more. Still I always liked that the show did acknowledge that he was interested in her but restrained himself because she was so young (and involved in a case he was investigating).
I too love the Audrey/Cooper--I'd say it's my OTP for the show
I'm always torn between Audrey/Coop and Coop/Harry. (Let's face it Josie sucked.)
The show did go a little off even before the resolution of the big mystery, but not as much as afterwards. It's like the symptoms of the problem started developing early.
