Oh Twin Peaks. I was a bit too young to watch the show when it first ran but I saw it all on Bravo as a teenager (with those Log Lady intros before each episode).

Twin Peaks, on the other hand, never really had a second arc to go to. The new story arc they introduced was lame in the extreme. This was in part because the arc that they'd planned was vetoed by Kyle MacLachlan—this was to develop the relationship between Agent Cooper and Audrey Horne.

Damn you Kyle MacLachlan! I love you, but damn you! I would have loved to have seen more development of their relationship, it was one of the most interesting dynamics on the show.

I'll admit it's been a while since I've watched the whole thing, but as I recall the show didn't really start to go off the rails until after the "who killed Laura Palmer" plot was resolved sometime in the second season. but boy did it go off the rails... though the Black Lodge stuff always intrigued me.

BTW does the box set come with the pilot episode? As far as I've seen it hasn't been released on DVD here (I think it's out in the UK). Also I have the first season on DVD and I know the second season is out separately, but I assume there are more special features with the complete collection?
