Finally saw "All Hell Breaks Loose."

So I wrote this story where Dean thinks Sam is dead.

...

There's really no point in posting that now, is there?

And I have to say, though I'll miss Ash (and I so called that! Anytime anyone says "I can't tell you over the phone", they're gonna die), I have to agree with the destruction of the Roadhouse. It was too convenient. Season 1 was just the boys on their own, fighting the darkness alone. The introduction of the Roadhouse in season 2 gave them a shelter, a place to run to. And while Hunted took that away, I still think it's better to get back to them being without allies. Does that make sense?

Also, they did with Ava what I hoped they would--that is, made her evil, but made it her decision. She was a little too mustache-twirly for me, but they got the right idea. The demon didn't make her kill anyone, she did that herself. The demon just put her in a situation where she could.

I'm not even going to talk about how Jossed my idea of the demon and the death of Mary is. This is why I try not to theorize too much.

I think adding the Roadhouse was a good idea. You can't have it be just those two characters forever; but meanwhile, the focus does need to stay on those two characters. So how delightfully evil is it that they introduced a whole posse of new supportings to the board and then knocked all the pieces over?

Ava seemed so off to me; I was glad to see that was on purpose (no, she isn't really this shrieking weeping clingy thing, thank you. She's just gone evil!)

No one is safe on this show. NO ONE. Wow.

So, I really loved that episode.

Heh. We both got Jossed and Kripke'd in the same episode. *g*
