All these ads in yahoo mail for the new Superman film are reminding me of the good old days when I couldn't wait for the Thursday after a new episode of Smallville to read the Ledger and the Torch on-line.

::sigh::

There should be a rule against putting out of office messages on emails you use to subscribe to massive listserves. Cause I really don't care if you, random person on listserve, are on vacation right now.

I spent this afternoon going through my slush drawer and sending out form rejection letters. Why? Because each and every rejection letter has this on the top:

06/06/06

Yes, I am the devil. *evil grin*

So, some time ago, [livejournal.com profile] chuckro posted on his engagement to [livejournal.com profile] jethrien, using the word "w00t" to show his feelings on the matter. I kindly pointed out to him in the comments that he had just used 1337 to describe the state of anticipated marital bliss. I discussion ensued, culminating in me clumsily rendering a sonnet from Romeo and Juliet in 1337.

Little did I know.

There is a 12-minute flash rendition of Romeo and Juliet entirely in 1337. My favorite bit is Romeo's reaction to hearing Juliet is dead: FUX0R!!!11!!1
