Unfortunately it's not a genre I've ever read much in -- it's been years since I've even read a Stephen King. In fact, I've only read three pro books this year -- two Sue Grafton novels and one Josh Lanyon -- and heard one audiobook (Tina Fey's Bossypants).

Perhaps I just don't notice them but I find it's not a common fanfic genre either. There might be thrillers but not actually horror thrillers or truly spooky fics. Kind of curious, come to think of it.
